One of my favorite things about Christmas is the cookies. The women in my family make some of the best Christmas cookies I’ve ever tasted. So this Christmas I’ve decided to share their recipes with all of you. Today’s delicious creation: Bourbon Balls! They don’t just taste amazing- they’re also really easy to make. Enjoy!
Bourbon Balls
3 cups crushed vanilla wafer crumbs
1 cup powered sugar
11/2 tablespoons cocoa
11/2 cups finely chopped pecans
3 tablespoons white corn syrup
1/3 cup bourbon
Mix all ingredients together and shape into 1 inch balls with hands. Roll in powdered sugar. Keep in tightly covered tin up to two weeks. Must mellow for a day before eating.
